Guitar and meditation are two separate practices that can be worked on and developed simultaneously, whether as a beginner or otherwise. While they are two separate skillsets, they can both strengthen and complement each other to make you a better player. Meditation helps you to become more aware - aware of subtle sensations, reactions, or movements that may hinder your progress (or be unconsciously contributing to poor technique). The effort and consistency put into practicing guitar and developing as a player can help give you the foundation to continue diligently practicing meditation (which will, in turn, positively impact your progression with the guitar).
